C'è stato un momento, durante questo weekend, in cui mentre la Bloodhound Gang cantava Dragostea din tei, sul palco qualcuno ha mostrato un quadro con Batman e Robin che si baciavano. Da quel momento in poi il weekend è stato una corsa tutta in discesa verso l'awesome XDDD

Domenica mattina levyrasputin ha lanciato una sfida, scrivere un drabble con le parole che avevo biascicato nel sonno, ovvero sì, no, perchè, caffè, però, aspetta, in un dialogo.

So, I just got home from the tour de force to Geneve and back. The bad news are that we couldn't go to the CERN and had not the chance to listen to the sound of the internet. Too bad.

We (as in me plus six other friends split into two cars) basically spent all Friday and all today driving, the car trip was around 9 hours long... X___X on Friday we arrived in Switzerland around 6.00 p.m., got lost as soon as we went through custom and started panicking, 'cause we had to get to our friends's home before he was back, in order to make him a birthday surprise (everything was organized by his girlfriend, who was a genius and somehow managed not to let even a hint to what was going to happen slip). We managed to get there in time (they don't live in Geneve, they live in a small town in the nearby, in France, but they work in Switzerland... we spent three days in and out three nations XD ), and the surprise party was a success!! :DDD We almost gave him a heart-attack (we got awesome pictures of when he opened the door and was all OMGWTF?!?! at all the people in their supposedly empty flat XD ), and then he was moved to tears =^____^= awww! One of us actually came back all the way from Ecuador (Ecuador!!) to be there for his birthday! As a present, we brought all sort of food (prosciutto, finocchiona, provolone cheese, stracchino, salame... the only thing missing was a live chicken, and the we would have been the perfect stereotype of Italians abroad XD ). Seriously, the trip was long and tiring, but seeing him so happy was well worth it! And I was really happy to see his girlfriend Monia too, she's awesome, and I really get to see her too little.
So, we spent an awesome time all together, on Saturday afternoon we went and saw Annecy, a lovely little town with a very cute city centre, and on the evening we were into Geneve: without knowing or planning it, we managed to be there in the days of this big celebration (...I'm not quite sure what kind of celebration was, like a city celebration or something), which, according to our friends, are the very only days of the whole year when Geneve is a little livelier than the usual (they say that all the rest of the time is a really boring city, nobody around, no places to go out and have fun... anyway, I thought it was an ok city, for the little that I saw). The best thing was this HUGE fireworks show on the lake, one whole hour of fireworks with music *______* Now, I'm a fireworks lover, so you can imagine I was more than happy XD

All in all, we had a really good time! ^_____^

(...I'm still a little shocked by my friends's flat, though... they got separate rooms for the bathroom and the WC O_______o; And the WC room got no window, not even a small one. They told us they actually were very lucky to find a flat with a bidet in the bathroom, so they couldn't complain...)

...I think I am possibly unconsciously trying to give myself some kind of food intoxication, in order to avoid work. Considering I took this Friday free in order to go to Geneva, Switzerland, for the surprise birthday party of a friend, this could be the worst timing ever.

(he works at the CERN. I doubt he will be able to bring friends inside for a touristical trip during the weekeend. In case, I'm told you can listen to the sound of the internet, there. I'll tell you about it. Also cool 'cause I've never been in Switzerland before :D These friends live in a small town next to Geneva, I'm quite curious to see the place! a 10 hours car-trip on the way...!)

Back to work on my article!

On another note... things are going quite well, all considered. Work is stressful lately but it could be worse, most of my concerns right now are about the water bill that still hasn't arrived >_< (after some problems with the company dealing with the bills for all our flats, water bill should arrive as a single bill for all the flats in this house, and then we divide... but it's still not here. I'm afraid we'll start again with the problems, the company wating to cut our water, all that stuff like last winter... argh).
As about the rest... weekend was PURE WIN! (with a sad note about the Festa dell'Unicorno in Vinci... ;____; the cosplay contest was little more than pitiful. A pity, considered how nice it had been last year!).
On Monday I was by my friends Jules and Joan and Jules had randomly found a huge bag of Magic cards, so me and Joan spent the evening playing Magic... it was fun! I'm surprised I still remember how to play, haven't touched a deck since 10 years or so... my Black deck wiped out his White one... once XD we should meet again to play on Friday (oh, and I discovered I can beat Joan at Dead or Alive 4: YESSSSSS!!!! *victory dance* the man is fucking unstoppable on both Street Fighter and Dragon Ball... and he even says he doesn't like fighting games -___- )
Yesterday I went out for dinner by a co-worker, together with Sara and Fabrizio: he made some wonderful arancini *drools*, then we played a board game named "Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas" (yes, the old mysterious sentence, it's becoming inflationate XD ), revolving about books lost in a pit. Nice! I made some damage, but I still lost.

I've beel playing a lot, lately XD I guess "The Gamers: Dorkness Rising" (not genial like the first "Gamers", but still a really enjoying movie) put me back in the mood.
I'd really love to start role-playing again. D&D, preferably.

'Cause I've just read "Deadpool: Sins of the Past", and beside being a GREAT story, she and Wade have nice dynamics and are just too cute. Really. Blame me for being a sucker for the "I have not my mask, don't look at me!-*she looks anyway*-GASP! D:> " moments...especially if followed by a "*gentle touch on marred cheek*-*understanding glance*-ok, the angst is over, let's go kick some ass together yay" moment XDDD Awesome thing about Deadpool: at least till now, the drama always ends immediately, like in Baccano.

Just downloaded the whole Cable&Deadpool series >:3 Going to read it soon.

Side notes... tomorrow I'm going in the woods with my colleagues. As part of
this "Team work/motivating/problem solving" course the direction has
bestowed upon us, we're been taken to Vallombrosa, cool place in Tuscany
country, for an orienteering session. Of course tomorrow weather forecast
is: rain.

I'm worried... I'm so very very worried...

Ok, no. What I hate is the fact the WHOLE frickin' world is so eager to go to Liguria every time there are two free days. Two hours and a half to do a half an hour long road, from Albenga to Savona. And THEN there were the other 4 hours of travel. Argh.

Oh well, now I'm home, I'm going to finally watch "Decepticon Air" on the tube, and later I'm going to a sagra. "Sagra del cinghiale", "hog feast" or something... XD

And I'm almost done with my first fanart of the Frenchman and the Female :D ah, I love the smell of new otp in the morning. It smells of obsession.

Yes, it's been a hard, debated decision, but my hair officially declared they were going to fall all in a time if I didn't stop bleaching them... so here I am, with brown hair (a brown shade way better than my own one XD gods bless hair-dressers).
